Cisco or UniFi switches?
For an office, building or warehouse, should you buy Cisco Catalyst or UniFi switches? The right choice depends on what the network must do.
Cisco Catalyst
The enterprise benchmark: advanced routing, redundant stacks, monitoring tools. Recent models usually come with software subscriptions. Right for demanding cores and teams fluent in IOS.
UniFi
PoE switches managed in the same console as Wi-Fi, cameras and access control, with no licence. More than enough for most SMBs, retail and buildings.
Arista for data centres
For data centres and very high density, Altea also works with Arista.
