IP security cameras
Altea designs and installs IP video surveillance (UniFi Protect) for buildings, retail, warehouses and offices. Footage stays with you on a local recorder, and we set retention, access and signage to comply with Quebec’s Law 25. We also replace old analog systems (DVR), reusing cabling where possible.

Frequently asked questions
How many days of recording do we need?
It depends on camera count, resolution and your retention policy. Our storage calculator gives an estimate, and Law 25 recommends keeping only what you need.
Is there a subscription?
No: UniFi Protect records to a device on your premises. Remote access is included.
Can we reuse existing coax cabling?
Sometimes, with adapters, but new network cable is more reliable. We assess on site.
Who can see the footage?
Only the people you authorize, each with their own account and a viewing log.
