Business network and Wi-Fi
Altea designs and deploys business networks: Wi-Fi 7, PoE switches, gateways and firewalls, guest networks and separate networks for cameras and devices. We work with UniFi, Cisco, Meraki and Arista as needed, and we measure before proposing: coverage survey, interference analysis and a load test at the end.
What we install
- Wi-Fi coverage survey and access point plan
- Indoor, outdoor and high-density Wi-Fi 7
- PoE switches and rack organization
- Gateway, firewall and backup Internet (LTE/5G)
- Separate networks (VLANs): staff, guests, cameras, IoT
- Wireless links between buildings
- Central multi-site management
- Documentation and diagrams at handover
How a project runs
- Interview: uses, devices, current problems
- Coverage survey and cabling inventory
- Architecture and quote
- Installation, with night or weekend cut-over if needed
- Load test, documentation and training
Solutions for every kind of building
Rental buildings
In rental buildings we provide the common-area, camera and access network, isolated from tenants.
Condos
For condos we install a network for building systems and Wi-Fi for common areas.
Retail
For retail we separate the payment-terminal network, the staff network and customer Wi-Fi, with a backup link.
Offices
In offices we size Wi-Fi for meeting rooms and video calls and secure server access.
Industrial
In industrial settings we cover large areas, cold or dusty zones and links between buildings.
Warehouses
In warehouses we place access points around the racking so barcode scanners never drop.
Institutions
For institutions we plan for high density, user authentication and segmentation.
Municipal
For municipal buildings we link several sites and offer controlled public Wi-Fi.

Frequently asked questions
How many access points do I need?
It depends on walls, ceilings and device count, not just floor area. We survey so you don’t buy too many or too few.
Can you take over an existing network?
Yes. We start with an inventory and documentation, then fix or migrate in stages.
Do you work after hours?
Yes, cut-overs happen evenings or weekends when operations can’t stop.
Is UniFi solid enough for business?
For most SMBs, retail and buildings, yes, with no annual licence. For specific needs we also offer Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet or Arista.
