Access control for buildings and businesses
Altea installs access control for residential buildings, retail, offices and industrial sites, under an RBQ licence. We mostly work with UniFi Access: no per-door licence, one app for managers, and a log of every opening. We also handle the door hardware (electric strikes, mag locks, panic bars, automatic operators) and parking gates.

Rental buildings
In rental buildings we replace common-door keys with cards or phones: a tenant who moves out means a deactivated card, not a new lock cylinder.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a per-door licence?
Not with UniFi Access: the software comes with the UniFi console. You pay for hardware and installation, with no mandatory subscription.
Can we keep our existing doors and locks?
Often, yes. We reuse frames and hardware in good condition and add an electric strike or mag lock. The site visit confirms it door by door.
What happens during a power or Internet outage?
Readers keep working on the local network. For each door we choose a safe fail mode (locked or unlocked) on power loss, and we can add backup power.
Can tenants open doors with their phone?
Yes, with the UniFi Identity app, alongside cards, PINs and hands-free parking fobs.
Are you licensed?
Yes, Altea holds an RBQ contractor licence for this work.
