Business network and Wi-Fi in Saguenay
Saguenay (Chicoutimi, Jonquière, La Baie) combines heavy industry, institutions, retail and a large rental stock.
Altea designs and deploys business networks: Wi-Fi 7, PoE switches, gateways and firewalls, guest networks and separate networks for cameras and devices. We work with UniFi, Cisco, Meraki and Arista as needed, and we measure before proposing: coverage survey, interference analysis and a load test at the end.
What we install in Saguenay
- Wi-Fi coverage survey and access point plan
- Indoor, outdoor and high-density Wi-Fi 7
- PoE switches and rack organization
- Gateway, firewall and backup Internet (LTE/5G)
- Separate networks (VLANs): staff, guests, cameras, IoT
- Wireless links between buildings
What clients in Saguenay ask us for
- In industrial settings we cover large areas, cold or dusty zones and links between buildings.
- For institutions we plan for high density, user authentication and segmentation.
- In rental buildings we provide the common-area, camera and access network, isolated from tenants.
- For retail we separate the payment-terminal network, the staff network and customer Wi-Fi, with a backup link.
